Sold, Closing 23rd of July

Like I predicted in my previous post, I am really not good in writing blogs. We are already in a furnished apartment since July 29th.
As I wrote in my previous post the counter offer was accepted and we then waited on any new information, like when appraisal and inspection will happen. We had a short vacation planned to my in-laws in Mississippi from the 1st to the 5th of July and got the info that the appraisal will be on the 1st of July, right when we leave. There was no word about a inspection which was weird but we didn't ask the buyers Realtor, she was their aunt, so I guess they trusted her.
Well we came back from the vacation and were preparing for our furniture to be picked up. Unaccompanied Baggage was scheduled for the 25th of July and Houshold Goods (HHG) for the 28th and 29th and the 30th for pick up, we thought we would have a day for cleaning. Wrong.
Our Realtor called us on the 15th and informed us the buyers want to close on the house on the 23rd. I was feeling all kinds of ways except happy. The 23rd was our day where we were supposed to go to Dallas to drop off the Durango for shipping. I could not change the date because I had the letter from the bank stating I can ship him on this date, the insurance started on this date too. Everything was set and done. A three hour trip and appointment was set to be at 3pm and the closing was supposed to happen at 11 am. No way we would be there on time. I asked our Realtor if it's possible to have the closing earlier that day and after some 30 minutes waiting she called me back and confirmed a 10 am closing time. That worked out.
We closed on the house on the 23rd, I wired the money the night before, and right after closing we went to Dallas.
We received a few calls from the shipping company about the dates, and at one point we had pick up dates of 30th, 31st and 1st of August, that was not happening. We were supposed to be out on the 30th of July. We had a lease that was going from the 23rd till the 30th. Everything was very hectic but the shippers managed to come on the 29th and pick up on the 30th.
We had a lot of trash that we were getting rid of and I started cleaning the oven on the 29th.
We arrived at the house on the 30th and 10 minutes later power was turned off, that was perfect timing, not. I was supposed to get a vacuum from my friend after they pick up the furniture and vacuum, now that was impossible. My plan was to use the broom to get the dirt off. I started cleaning all bathrooms and the kitchen. I knew water would be turned off too, so I let some water in the sinks and bathtubs but I forgot to put some in the bucket I would use later to mop the floor.
I managed to clean everything but the floors. It was getting hot inside over 80 degrees, doors were open to let some air in.
Well our Realtor came 10 minutes after the shipping company left and was disappointed that we weren't done yet. She didn't want to listen either, so she made sure we can come back the next day and have everything done by 12. She thought I still have to clean bathrooms and kitchen, if she would only listen. But it was almost 7 pm and the girls were tired so we agreed we will come back next day to pick up the rest from the garage. Some things I was giving to my friend and some was trash.
Next day I cleaned the floor with ice cube water I left in the bucket over night.
Everything was done and we said our byes and left. Finally. We were done.
Happy.
We are now renters for 2 months till we fly. Car is in Houston to be shipped, Furniture is on the way to be shipped. We are done.
